More Wally Wood practice. This time I only achieved one presentable drawing.

I'd like to apologize for the lack of blog posts.. I havn't been making the best use of my time lately. Today was the first day I sat down to draw in like 2 weeks. Needless to say the majority of the drawings were majorly shitty. I was studying from "Cannon" by Wally Wood. Here are two of the least sucky drawings:

Gecko & Sticky Animatic

I thought it might be kind of cool to show you guys the animatic from Gecko & Sticky (because it is so radically different looking from the final animation). For those of you who don't know what an animatic is, it's the draft of a cartoon that consists mainly of key poses and timing (no animation). This animatic is what I pitched to Nickelodeon in order to see if they liked the idea or not. I actually thought they would reject most of it or want major changes. But, to my very pleasant surprise, they ended up really liking it!!! Here are links to both the animatic and the finished cartoon so that you can see the differences between the two:
