Sometimes when you're working on an excruciatingly bland children's show, you need to take super quick doodle breaks in order to maintain your sanity:

Here we find a father figure who has promised his son a brand new video game system, but has really just painted a cardboard box to look like a video game system. The kid doesn't find this joke to be very amusing.

The End?

HOLY SHIT!! THAT"S INSANE!! AND IT HAS A MORAL!! DON"T JOKE AROUND WITH YOUR KIDS OR YOU'LL GET YOUR ASS KICKED!!!

Ohh and what's the "bland children's show" your working on?

Haha thanks James.

The project ended so I'm not working on the show anymore.. and I would tell you what it was, but I'd rather be safe and not say since it was for kids and these drawings are pretty twisted.

Cool although I don't quite get the first 2 panels. Is the first guy his brother?

Heh, he kinda looks like a monkey in the last panel

I think you made a typo - it was supposed to be 'rapping room', right? RIGHT?! Nothing like some wholesome American hip-Hop to bring a family together.

Would have loved to see his eff'ed up version of a video game, with sellotape hanging off of cardboard.

I didn't even notice that he doesn't have a beard in the first two, until I read that comment. That's weird! haha

beard on , beard off, who needs to be on model anyway?
you are absolutely right about having to break the kiddie-mould from time to time.

haha it's his friend. the first two panels are completely separate from the rest of the drawings.

hmm? the bearded dad isn't in the first two panels if that's what you mean. the first two panels are just of some kids.

Haha these are crazy! It's pretty hilarious. I like the last pose of the kid chasing his friend!

Hey, I really liked the animation you did of the duck. It's coming out really good!

That makes more sense then. I thought because it was a doodle that you were just trying out different looks. I stand ashamed.

I can imagine working on a bland children's show would make you feel that way. Its good that you found an outlet for it rather than sneaking dirty things into the finished product like Disney has become so famous for
