PILOT IS BACK IN FULL EFFEKT
My pilot is now back in action because my temporary animation gig is now at an END.. here are some doodles from the job:

The project was called "Sing & Read" and is being released by Leap Frog. If you have kids (4 and under) pick this DVD up for them, it is actually VERY cool for an educational kids cartoon! Give it around 3 months to appear in stores.

Here is a cartoon that I, Mike Nassar, Chris Allison, David Gemmill, John Martinez and Aaron Schlicting made. It's a little late for the holiday but oh well.

It's in the works..

**update**
another thing is that I am debating cleaning any of it up (so the lines will look all ugly & jagged). what ive got so far isnt cleaned up, but colored. i'll have to post some screenshots of the colored but non-cleaned up scenes & you guys can be the judge.

but then i started fucking up. angles werent right, i had to keep redrawing shit. and it was because i didnt have a storyboard or solid foundation of each scene.
This is one of the backgrounds I had to throw out because I drew it at the wrong angle.

Here are some Barney Bear studies. I was able to obtain the reference material thanks to Kevin Langley's awesome Cartoon & Model Sheets blog.
I drew this one the next day at work, this time without any reference. I was pretty pleased that I was able to do it from memory.
