nice! i like the drive/garage, stone the side, the slight roof part hanging over. this looks just like a real house, except stylized and cartoony.

I made comics with backgrounds like that, but my drawings don't look so good...^-^

Ryan, try and keep them simple, forget the detail try to make interesting design shapes. Does Jim smith have any of his house drwings on his site? Copy them...

This looks like a normal house in this area. Try to find some really interesting little cottages and caricature them. Do you live in LA?

Oops just noticed you live in LA. Try going to pasadena or glendale. Toluca Lake has some cool houses. It is better to draw the real thing to see the construction up close. It's like life drawing - the real thing is always better for study.
